This Privacy Policy describes how BaristaGrid, Inc. ("BaristaGrid", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you access our website, dashboards, mobile experiences, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to the practices set out below.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated automatically when you use the Services, and information from third parties you authorize. This may include:
- Account details such as full name, email address, password, and workspace identifiers.
- Roster and scheduling data — including employees, roles, hourly rates, shifts, and time-off requests — that you submit to organize your team.
- Usage telemetry such as IP address, device, browser, language, referring page, and feature interactions.
- Billing details handled exclusively by our PCI-compliant payments processor; we never store full card numbers.
- Support correspondence, including chat transcripts and the content of any email you send to our team.
2. How we use information
We process information to operate, maintain, and improve the Services; to provision new workspaces; to authenticate users and prevent abuse; to communicate product updates; and to comply with legal obligations. We never sell personal data and never use your roster information to train third-party AI models.
3. Sharing & sub-processors
We share information only with carefully vetted sub-processors that help us deliver the Services — including our cloud database provider, email delivery vendor, error monitoring, and payment processor. A current list is available on request and is reviewed regularly against our security baseline.
We may also share information when required by law, to protect the safety of users, or in connection with a corporate transaction (with notice provided in advance).
4. Your choices
Workspace owners control roster data and may export, correct, or delete it at any time from the dashboard. Employees can request access to, or removal of, personal information by contacting their workspace administrator or our team directly.
5. International transfers & retention
The Services are hosted in the United States and the European Union. We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, plus a short window required to fulfil legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.
6. Children's privacy
BaristaGrid is built for workforce management and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
