Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Like most modern SaaS products, BaristaGrid uses cookies and a handful of similar technologies (local storage, session storage, and pixel tags) to keep the platform secure, fast, and useful.
1. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required to authenticate your session, protect against CSRF, and keep the platform online. These cannot be disabled.
- Functional — remember your preferences such as theme, time-zone, and the last workspace you opened.
- Analytics — privacy-respecting product analytics that help us understand which features are used and where the experience can be improved.
- Marketing — limited to our public marketing site, used to attribute the success of campaigns. No marketing cookies are set inside authenticated dashboards.
2. How long cookies last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period — typically between seven days and twelve months, depending on their purpose. Authentication tokens follow security best practices and rotate on a regular schedule.
3. Managing your preferences
You can manage non-essential cookies at any time using the preferences banner shown on your first visit, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Disabling functional or analytics cookies will not break the platform but may reduce its quality of life — for example, your workspace selection will not persist between visits.
4. Do Not Track
We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where it is available. When detected, BaristaGrid will not load marketing-grade analytics for that browser session.
5. Updates to this policy
As we add or remove tools, we update this page and the cookie inventory below. Material changes are accompanied by an in-app notice for active workspaces.
